This position is for a handson Manager responsible for directing the programs activities of the Software and Firmware engineering group focused on new product development and improving existing products. As Senior R&D Manager (Software / Firmware) you will lead and be a part of a highperformance team responsible for the design implementation and test of Software / Firmware medical systems and their associated devices within our Electrophysiology Pulsed Field Ablation portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a talented team of engineers working on software and firmware development for PFA technology.
- Lead Software / Firmware teams in the achievement of organizational and functional goals. Guide coach direct and develop direct reports and if applicable drive those practices throughout their organization.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders project management and interdisciplinary partners
- Develop detailed work plans objectives schedules project estimates resource plans and status reports. Monitor and troubleshoot performance and schedule issues. Support and enable team to achieve objectives.
- Oversee development processes to ensure compliance with industry standards quality systems and regulatory requirements.
- Build strategic partnerships and effectively collaborate crossfunctionally to further departmental and organizational objectives.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams (engineering clinical regulatory etc. to ensure alignment resolve challenges and meet milestones.
- Work across multiple design/product workstreams in a capacity to resolve complex problems with robust technical solutions. Consider all critical aspects of product design during decision making including patient safety clinical practice highlevel product performance and product manufacturability.
- Lead by example and motivate and inspire other technical team members in the program.
- Create a strong team culture around high expectations and high performance.
- Demonstrate effective change management leadership.
- Provide clear communication to stakeholders at key technical updates.
Required qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering or relevant degree.
- Experience in software/firmware development (C/C embedded systems RTOS) and understanding of hardware/software integration.
- 7 years of work experience in software or hardware engineering
- 4 years of experience in leading Software / Firmware teams
- Experience in medical device or other highly regulated industry (i.e. aerospace defense or other)
- Demonstrated strong crossfunctional collaboration influence without authority and project/task management enabling highly effective teams
- Experience with managing budgets and deadlines
- Passion for understanding the end user environment with a fluency in design validation and usability to confirm design solutions
- Personal drive individual accountability and a strong bias for action
- Strong personal credibility and excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing medical devices from early stage through full product launch and sustaining
- SCRUM Master
- Experience in electrophysiology cardiac rhythm management structural heart or a comparable intracardiac technology
- Fluency in the IEC 60601 standards

Ce poste est pour un Gestionnaire pratique responsable de diriger les activits du programme du groupe dingnierie Logiciel et Micrologiciel ax sur le dveloppement de nouveaux produits et lamlioration des produits existants. Responsabilits
- Grer une quipe talentueuse dingnieurs travaillant sur le dveloppement de logiciels et de micrologiciels pour la technologie dablation par champs pulss.
- Diriger des quipes de dveloppement de logiciels et de micrologiciels pour atteindre les objectifs organisationnels et fonctionnels. Guider encadrer diriger et dvelopper les subordonns directs et le cas chant promouvoir ces pratiques dans lensemble de lorganisation.
- Collaborer avec les responsables techniques les gestionnaires de projet et les partenaires interdisciplinaires.
- laborer des plans de travail dtaills des objectifs des calendriers des estimations de projets des plans de ressources et des rapports davancement. tre attentif aux problmes de rendement et de calendrier et les rsoudre. Soutenir lquipe et lui et permettre datteindre ses objectifs.
- Superviser les processus de dveloppement pour assurer la conformit aux normes de lindustrie aux systmes de qualit et aux exigences rglementaires.
- tablir des partenariats stratgiques et collaborer efficacement de manire interfonctionnelle pour atteindre les objectifs du service et de la socit.
- Travailler en troite collaboration avec des quipes interfonctionnelles (ingnierie clinique rglementation etc. pour assurer la conformit du processus rsoudre les problmes et respecter les chances.
- Travailler dans plusieurs domaines lis la conception et aux produits afin de rsoudre des problmes complexes laide de solutions techniques prouves. Tenir compte de tous les aspects critiques de la conception des produits lors de la prise de dcision y compris la scurit des patients la pratique clinique le rendement de haut niveau des produits et la fabricabilit des produits.
- Montrer lexemple motiver et inspirer les autres membres de lquipe technique du programme.
- Crer une culture dquipe forte autour dattentes et de performances leves.
- Faire preuve dun leadership efficace en matire de gestion du changement.

Comptences Minimum Requises
- Baccalaurat ou suprieur en systmes informatiques en sciences informatiques en ingnierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Exprience dans le dveloppement de logiciels/micrologiciels (C/C systmes embarqus RTOS) et comprhension de lintgration matriel/logiciel.
- 7 annes dexprience de travail en ingnierie logicielle ou matrielle.
- 4 annes dexprience dans la direction dquipes Logiciel/Micrologiciel.
- Exprience dans les dispositifs mdicaux ou autre industrie hautement rglemente (par exemple arospatiale dfense ou autre).
- Collaboration interfonctionnelle dmontre influence sans autorit et gestion de projet/tche permettant des quipes hautement efficaces.
- Exprience dans la gestion des budgets et des dlais.
- Excellente capacit collaborer de manire transversale influencer sans exercer dautorit et grer des projets et des tches afin de constituer des quipes trs efficaces
