Job Description
Leidos is seeking a talented Quality Inspector to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense space cyber and commercial fields Leidos provides responsive costeffective engineering scientific and IT solutions
Primary Responsibilities
Inspect component and assembled parts.
Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
Write Nonconformance and start investigation to root cause.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate must possess a High School diploma/GED with 35 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
Must have a knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers calipers etc.
Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
Experience in IPC610 and J standard specifications is required.
Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computergenerated inspection reports.
Candidate must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word etc.
Applicant must be able to work fulltime with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on work flow.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL area.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance if required.

JStandard w/space addendum certification
IPC620 certification

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50050.00 $90475.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
