Digital Technology Software Portfolio Manager

Description

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing and leading multiple programs developing program strategy and driving innovation supporting the newly formed Technology & Innovation Office (TIO). The role collaborates with relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of program progress manages budgets escalations sets up monthly governance and evaluates program plans for compliance. The role proactively identifies areas of continuous improvement and implements changes in products processes or business practices as required.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for TIO driven initiatives.
  • Sets up and manages the governance with the TIO Program management office.
  • Directs the development of overall program strategy budgets resource allocation plans and general program requirements for the TIO.
  • Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.
  • Communicates program progress escalations and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products processes or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.
  • Monitors and enforces project schedules and quality with vendors or subcontractors.
  • Works with engineering project managers product design operations to identify and resolve the risks associated with early builds.
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing engineering organization.
  • Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.
  • Coordinates with management to ensure proper procedural compliance maintenance and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to lessexperienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Fouryear or Graduate Degree in Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10 years of work experience preferably in engineering development and implementation project planning tools and software packages people management or a related field

The base pay range for this role is $146650 to $225850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.
