Senior Executive Information Technology
Mission:
The mission of the position Information Technology Senior Executive is to oversee and manage the organizations information technology infrastructure ensuring seamless operation of SAAS products and software maintaining hardware and network devices implementing security solutions and providing technical support to ensure the efficient functioning of the laboratorys IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Laboratory IT Infrastructure Management:
Support and maintain the laboratorys IT systems including laboratory information management systems (LIMS) laboratory automation systems and related software.
Configure monitor and maintain laboratory equipment that is connected to IT networks ensuring proper integration and performance.
Oversee network and hardware systems used in the laboratory including servers workstations and data storage solutions.
Deploy configure and manage various SoftwareasaService (SAAS) products and software solutions that are essential for the laboratorys operations and data management.
Perform troubleshooting activities to diagnose and resolve hardware software and network issues efficiently minimizing downtime and disruptions.
Safeguard the laboratorys sensitive information and data through regular audit activities.
System Integration & Automation:
Work closely with laboratory teams to integrate IT systems with laboratory instruments and equipment.
Support the automation of routine laboratory processes ensuring that systems are effectively capturing data and performing required analyses.
User Support & Training:
Provide timely and effective technical support to users across the organization addressing ITrelated issues and assisting in software usage troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Develop and deliver training programs to laboratory personnel on the use of IT systems software applications and best practices for data management.
Project Support:
Assist in the planning and implementation of laboratory IT projects such as new system integrations software upgrades and hardware installations.
Coordinate with vendors for the installation maintenance and upgrade of laboratoryrelated IT equipment and software.
Training & Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to share technical knowledge conduct training sessions to educate staff on best IT practices and ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.
Inventory management forAssetsdesktops printers laptops and barcode printers
Master data management of LIMS Website and Mobile Apps
Day to day IT operations support
Coordinate with support team/ vendor team for closure of L1 and L2 issues
Troubleshooting for LIMS Issues and providesupport to LIMS users forLIMS queries
Support and implement new HLM and Lab implementations.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain detailed records of IT system configurations network topology troubleshooting procedures and change management processes.
Ensure that all laboratory IT systems and activities comply with relevant industry standards regulations and certifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Laboratory Technology or a related field.
3 years of experience in managing IT systems within a laboratory environment or related industry.
Relevant certifications such as LIMS administration ITIL Foundation or others related to IT and laboratory systems would be a plus.
Strong attention to detail and precision in troubleshooting and system management.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced laboratory setting.
Proactive selfstarter with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity with sensitive data.
