Main Office located in Campbell San Jose. Satellite Office is located in Capitola

The Opportunity
Are you interested in a Sr. Staff Geotechnical Engineering or Sr. Staff Civil Engingeer position that allows you to own your projects from cradle to grave Or would you prefer to just focus on one piece of the puzzle for your whole career My guess is you are a smart curious Engineer who loves solving complex problems and would like exposure to all aspects of projects not just one part.
At C2Earth we work to optimize our employees career development by exposing them to the entirety of each assigned project. This includes developing scopes of work preparing budgets conducting subsurface exploration programs mapping geologic/engineering site conditions performing laboratory testing drafting analyzing collected data writing reports or letters and overseeing contractors proper of the approved plan. You will get the fullscope hands on experience within each phase of the process setting you up for success to amass a wellrounded knowledge of highlevel Engineering.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Work with our subcontractors to schedule field work & obtain permits from local agencies
- Oversee drilling test pit/trench operations
- Observe fieldwork and manage recording of data
- Develop a thorough knowledge of
- Create slope profiles and field maps
- Develop thorough knowledge of field subsurface exploration and mapping procedures
- Conduct laboratory testing
- Prepare illustrations and conceptual design figures for publication
- Assist with analyzing evaluating and interpreting collected data and measurements
- Gain working knowledge and understanding of engineering geologic and geotechnical engineering concepts and project requirements
