Job Description

St. Edwards School

Employment Opportunity

Grade 5 Teacher 3 Month Term
March 10 2025June 26 2025 (with possible extension till March or June 26 2026

Position Available

St. Edwards School is a wonderful school with kind students and a lovely supportive parent community. We are currently expanding to include Grade 7 and 8. We is looking for a Grade 5 teacher to cover for a maternity leave. We are planning for a week of overlap with the current teacher to help with transitioning.

Successful applicants will:

Demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic faith
Have the ability to work as a member of a school team.
Have the ability to work with teachers at multiple grade levels.
Have the ability to work with students who have learning behavioural/emotional and/or developmental disabilities.
Have the ability to take initiative and work independently.

Not Required but helpful:

Is a practicing Catholic
Holds a current Manitoba Teaching Certificate or working towards or teaching experience in another country
Experience working as a teacher in Grade 4 5 or 6
