Vacancy for the post of Medical Officer (Assisted Living Facility)
Qualification: MBBS
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in geriatric patients)
Duty Time: General Duty
Work Location: Bavdhan (Pune)
Role and Responsibilities
Medical Check up of the applicants before their admission to maintain a detailed record of existing illness or complications if any including psychological or other medical criteria asset forth by company.
Prepare thorough individual care plan (ICP) and review periodically in consultation with guarantors and treating doctor/physician. There should be clearly defined short term and long term goals mentioned in the ICP
Daily visit by doctor to monitor routine health of the Members (residents at assisted living) and maintain the record for the visits and doctors notes
Reporting of general health status to relatives ad managementand in case of diagnosis of any abnormality illness or injury
Consultation with the treating doctor/physician and taking advice for any changes in the treatment
Inform those changes or plan of further action to the relatives/management in time
Attending to the calls as and when needed
Monitor medication physio therapy ambulation of member diagnosis pre and post counselling therapy and prevention of diseases by providing sophisticated and relevant tests
Impart training to nurses health care attendants paramedics etc about Geriatric Care
Follow infection control practices and train medical team accordingly
Shifting the residents to the hospital in case of medical emergency and required hospital care or any other condition beyond manageable at assisted living
Coordination with relatives of residents for hospitalization
Obtaining necessary consents from relatives in appropriate formats in coordination with management
Completion of paperwork and legal procedures in case of death
