The New Client Acquisition Team targets companies in the private public and charity sectors building strategic partnerships with large organisations to develop their employees in line with talent and digital strategies.


The role:

As Senior Client Manager you will be responsible for engaging target clients selling the benefits of Corndels talent and skills solutions and creating longterm successful partnerships. You will work closely with the Corndel Account Management team to hand over won accounts and opportunities to be delivered.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working towards a challenging financial sales target
  • Supporting the growth and development of Corndel
  • Working in a research and consultative framework to understand our target customers strategic objectives and how levyfunded and custom solutions can align to form part of a wider talent solution
  • Building relationships with new clients and helping them to understand how their apprenticeship levy can be used to achieve their strategic goals
  • Leading campaigns proposals pitches tenders and stakeholder engagement strategies to win new clients
  • Working closely with the Account Management team to ensure that services are implemented in time and a positive ongoing customer relationship is secured
  • Working collaboratively with your sales colleagues sharing best practice and contributing to a great working culture

Experience and Skills:
Essential:
  • A trackrecord of achieving or exceeding sales targets preferably in a businesstobusiness solutionbased sales role
  • Experience of engaging and influencing senior decisionmakers at large businesses
  • Exceptional relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and listening skills
  • High levels of organisation and personal accountability
  • Drive to be a high performer in a sales environment
  • The ability to take initiative and establish effective systems processes and collaborative ways of working

Desirable:
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of different business environments and priorities
  • Consultative sales approach focused on listening adding value and building lasting partnerships
