Job Description

The Division of Thoracic and Foregut Surgery in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking an early or midcareer surgeon with a special interest and skill in minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery to join a mature general thoracic practice at a large tertiary care hospital at UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Desirable early career candidates would be recent graduates (within 12 years) from established general thoracic tracked residency programs with pulmonary and foregut experience although graduates of nontracked cardiothoracic programs with strong references will be considered. Mid career applicants should possess strong minimally invasive skill sets including robotics experience. Further the selected candidate will join the prestigious Hillman Cancer Center and enjoy working alongside many multidisciplinary worldrenowned colleagues.
