QUALIFICATIONS:
BA or BS degree required. Recent graduate with relevant course or project work and interest in medicine womens health and racial/ethnic disparities ideal.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of clinical research protocols.
Knowledge of computer programs and databases including MS Excel Word and Powerpoint.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks.
Careful attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect for patient rights and individual needs.
Statistical programming a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
General office environment. The candidate will be required to handle biological specimens and follow universal precautions for blood protection against pathogens. He / she will also handle various pieces of electronic equipment. Some equipment transporting (on wheels) may also be occasionally necessary.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Working under the supervision of the Principal Investigator following established policies and procedures and providing assistance on clinical research studies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides assistance on clinical research studies as per studies guidelines and protocols.
2. Evaluates potential study patients within databases. May be required to organize collected specimens.
3. Organizes data and maintains patient information databases for clinical studies. May be required to input data do minimum analysis and run various reports. Maintains patient records as part of recordkeeping function.
4. Conducts literature reviews conduct of simple statistical analyses and production of power point presentations and support with abstract and manuscript development.
5. Performs all other duties as assigned.
