Job Description
Job Summary:Senior QA Managerwith strong delivery and program management experience is responsible for leading both manual and automation testing teams across various projects while providing expert consulting services to clients. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies coupled with the ability to translate client needs into effective test strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills delivery and consulting experience and a passion for ensuring the highest quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead mentor and manage large team of both functional and automation test engineers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies that encompass both manual and automated testing.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to deliver highquality testing services.
- Consulting & Client Engagement:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and testing requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on both functional and automation testing strategies estimations ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Conduct assessments of clients current testing processes and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations reports and proposals that demonstrate the value of your testing services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring satisfaction and fostering longterm partnerships.
- Automation Testing:
- Design develop and maintain robust automation testing frameworks and scripts.
- Integrate automation testing into the overall software development lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure test automation coverage is comprehensive and effective reducing the need for repetitive manual testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Manual Testing:
- Strong delivery experience
- Oversee and manage the planning design and of end to end manual testing engagements.
- Extensive knowledge in STLC
- Contribute in solutioning of manual testing engagements
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple testing projects ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
- Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including developers business analysts and product managers to ensure project success.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends tools and best practices in both functional and automation testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Advocate for the adoption of new testing tools and technologies across the organization.
- Reporting & Metrics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both functional and automation testing efforts.
- Provide regular reports to senior management and clients on testing progress risks and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- 14 years of experience in software testing with at least 5 years in automation testing
- Proven experience in a leading large and distributed QA teams and complex programs
- Strong delivery and consulting experience including client engagement requirements gathering and solution delivery
- Expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Tosca and Selenium.
- Experience with manual testing methodologies test case design and .
- Experience with implementing continuous testing and automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins ADO etc.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
