Who are we looking for
Our Engineering Design Organization is expanding and looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Chantilly VA! With 1020 years of experience in the design of electrical power generation and distribution and utilization systems youll be leading and overseeing power distribution projects throughout the region.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Coordinate/perform power studies (including Arc Flash studies)
- Coordinate/perform detailed design of electrical power systems
- Assist in proposal preparation including scope development and preparation of engineering estimates
- Preparation of electrical equipment procurement specifications
- Preparation of electrical construction documents
- Design review and seal electrical design packages
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- 1020 years of experience in the design of electrical power generation and distribution and utilization systems; experience with industrial and municipal clients
- Familiarity with ETAP or SKM computerassisted electrical power study programs including shortcircuit protective relaying coordination and arcflash studies
- Working knowledge of NFPA70 (NEC) NFPA 70E and NFPA 70B and other electrical industry codes standards and recommended practices
- Federal project experience a plus
