Primary Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspection preventive maintenance and overhaul on knitting
and glove manufacturing machines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and electronics issues.
Replace defective parts such as needles sinkers cams Bearing etc.
Identify and fix machine breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective
measures to ensure consistent product quality
Adjust machine settings for different knitting pattern and fabric types.
Work closely with the production and quality department to meet quality
standards.
Interact with machine manufacturers part suppliers and service providers for
technical support and parts procurement.
Maintain comprehensive logs including service histories parts replaced and
scheduled maintenance reports.
Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts tools and equipment
necessary for smooth operation.
Lead train and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and staffs.
Follow safety guideline and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
Supplementary Skills (Preferred):
Experience in welding lathe operation or fabrication work will be an added
advantage.
Qualification & Experience:
Education: Class 10/12 / Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical or Textile.
Experience: 15 to 20 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance (Flat
or Circular Knitting Weaving Looms) is preferred.
