Job Profile
Sapiens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance & Load Testing Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves designing developing and executing performance tests while collaborating closely with crossdevelopment teams to ensure application scalability and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience
PreRequisites:
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience as a Performance Engineer.
- 5 years of experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter LoadRunner or OctoPerf.
- Experience in OctoPerf is an added advantage.
- 3 years of experience working with web technologies and architectures.
- Handson experience with SQL Server including writing and executing complex queries.
- Handson experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace Datadog and AppDynamics.
- Experience with Linux platforms including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
- Strong handson technical skills with the ability to deepdive into performance issues.
- Proficiency in executing SQL queries to extract performancerelated data.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ability to conduct detailed root cause analysis for performance issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy for Sapiens applications.
- Design develop execute and maintain performance testing scenarios using various tools and scripting languages.
- Write and execute complex database queries to extract and analyze performance and data populations metrics.
- Perform indepth root cause analysis of performance issues.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks suggesting effective tuning and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with project teams developers and customers to ensure performance objectives are met and findings are effectively communicated.
- Generate and present detailed performance summary reports to key stakeholders.
- Deploy monitor and analyze application performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace Datadog and AppDynamics.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle and improve system efficiency.
