Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented EMR Product Quality Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep understanding of EMR systems and North American healthcare workflows who thrives in a dynamic environment and can work across quality assurance technical writing and product enhancement functions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product development and support teams to ensure our EMR solutions meet the highest quality standards are thoroughly documented and align with the needs of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance (QA) Testing:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and plans for new features and updates based on requirements and user stories.
- Perform manual testing to validate software functionality identify defects and ensure compliance with highquality standards.
- Document and track issues using tools like Jira collaborating with development teams to address and resolve bugs.
- Conduct regression testing and routine quality checks to maintain product stability and reliability.
Technical Documentation:
- Work with the product team to create update and maintain detailed user guides manuals FAQs and release notes for EMR solutions.
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to enhance the clarity accuracy and consistency of documentation.
- Continuously review and refine documentation to reflect product updates customer feedback and best practices.
AI Integration in Workflows:
- Leverage AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT AIbased test automation tools) to optimize documentation and quality assurance tasks.
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and recommend their integration to improve workflows and enhance productivity.
CrossDepartment Collaboration:
- Partner with product managers developers and support teams to ensure alignment between testing documentation and product goals.
- Participate in project meetings to stay informed about product changes and proactively prepare test plans and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Healthcare IT or a related field.
- 3 years of experience with EMR/EHR systems and a deep understanding of North American healthcare workflows.
- Proven ability to write test cases perform manual testing and document test results.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira TestRail).
- Experience creating and maintaining userfacing technical documentation.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to enhance productivity in writing and testing tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with UX writing principles.
