WAREHOUSE MANAGER (RAIL & LOCOMOTIVE INDUSTRY)
ROSSLYN PRETORIA GAUTENG PROVINCE
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field(ESSENTIAL)
- Relevant certifications : Forklift Operator Certification & OHS Certification
- Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies(ADVANTAGEOUS)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse management preferably in the rail or locomotive industry(ESSENTIAL)
- Experience working in the rail or locomotive industry(ADVANTAGEOUS)
- Proficient onMS Office programmes(ESSENTIAL)
- Proficient onSage Pastel & MS Projects(ESSENTIAL)
- Familiarity with inventory management systems warehouse operations and logistics
- Duties:Warehouse Operations Inventory Management Team Management Safety and Security Compliance Reporting and Analytics Continuous Improvement Supplier Management & Budgeting and Cost Control
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans(written & verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of warehouse staff
- Strong managerial capabilities coupled with resolution & analytical skills
- Valid Drivers Licence(no endorsements)
- Own reliable vehicle(ESSENTIAL)
- Position is based in Rosslyn Pretoria Gauteng Province
- Candidates from other provinces will be considered if willing to relocate at their own cost

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas & Duties:
- Warehouse Operations:
Oversee the receipt storage and issuance of goods and materials
- Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels track stock movements and minimize stockouts and overstocking
- Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff providing guidance training and development opportunities
- Safety and Security:
Ensure a safe and secure working environment adhering to OHS regulations and company policies
- Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures & regulatory requirements
- Reporting and Analytics:
Provide regular reports and analytics on warehouse operations inventory levels and supply chain performance
- Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency
- Supplier Management:
Manage relationships with suppliers ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of goods and materials
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
Manage warehouse budgets ensuring costeffective operations and minimizing waste

- Inventory accuracy and availability
- Warehouse safety and security
- Supply chain performance and delivery times
- Warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Cost control and budget management
