About this position

Oversees daily operational functions of the Respiratory Therapy departments at Maple Grove Hospital and Robbinsdale Hospital and the Pulmonary Function department at Robbinsdale Hospital through effective planning organizing implementing and evaluating. Compliments corporate strategic initiatives by implementing appropriate business changes. Supports and motivates staff to meet the corporate mission and vision. Facilitates staff professional development. Ensures high quality cost effective and serviceoriented patient care. Leads by example and insures application of the corporate assets in the workplace. Anticipates market and patient care changes and modifies programming as needed. Grows program volumes where applicable. Complies with standards and requirements of all accrediting licensing and regulatory agencies pertaining to Respiratory Care practice. Coordinates and maintains accountability for Respiratory Care student clinical education programs.

Requirements

Education

Baccalaureate Degree from a JRCRTE/COARC School of Respiratory Therapy or willingness to obtain within 34 years of hire required.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical based Respiratory Therapy position.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or direct management experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal written and verbal skills.

Licensure/Certification

Nationally Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
NMHC Standard

Licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist (RT or LRT)
State Requirement

Must be currently certified as a BCLS Provider

Salary Range:L12 $52.46 $81.30 based on experience
