Applications fromprotected veterans and individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged.Receiving direction from the Executive Director of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children and Partners Pediatrics oversees the physician outreach efforts for the MGHfC and Partners Pediatrics provides management support for the network development activities and provides general project management support for MGHfC.The physician outreach work will include oversight physician practice visits overall support of communication with community physicians including PCHI providers and the development and implementation of an annual physician outreach plan. The management support for network development activities for MGHfC will include overall project management support for MGHfC network relationships including development and maintenance of project plans and activity reports for each relationship.The incumbent must have strong interpersonal organizational skills analytical skills flexibility in work hours an ability to work independently attention to detail an ability to work under time deadlines and an ability to travel to community based practices.Physician Outreach Activities Physician Practice Visits Works collaboratively with the Executive Director the Physician Director of Network Development the Chiefs of Pediatric Medical and Surgical Services across all Partners entities and affiliated parties the Pediatric Medical Director at PCHI and others as appropriate to identify opportunities for physician practice visits. Facilitates the scheduling of these visits and supports all associated followup. Communication Establishes relationship with contacts at all Partners practices and sites including PCHI practices to facilitate communication with a focus on facilitating access issues awareness building and providing general support for various issues that may arise. Network Development Activities Project Management Develops and maintains project plans with the Executive Director for all network relationships Maintains reference materials for each entity with an existing relationship or a potential future relationship including basic facts for that entity Oversees the documentation and communication of next steps associated with the project plans for each relationship including regular correspondence with managers and contacts within MGH Departments as well as contacts of outside entities. Acts as a liaison to the MGH Network Development team. Reporting Develops with the Executive Director standardized reports for each relationship entity to track volume and other programmatic metrics. MGHfC Project Management Oversee various projects for MGHfC including helping to compile MGHfC data and information across services. Includes production of MGHfC reports Bachelors degree required preferably in Business; Masters degree preferred. Minimum of 35 years of directly related experience required; Interpersonal/communication: Excellent interpersonal/communications skills and a good command of English language including medical and scientific terminology. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills and ability to organize time and priorities effectively asking for direction when appropriate. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadline pressures. Leadership: Ability to identify issues/projects and initiates plans to address; Demonstrates forthrightness and integrity. Ability to develop a common vision for diverse constituents communicate effectively sell ideas and take ownership and responsibility for activities. Analytical Skills: Ability to conceptualize conduct and present complex analysis (financial and operational). Critical Thinking/Decision Making: Ability to appropriately evaluate all aspects of a situation and to independently make appropriate and timely decisions. Professional knowledge: Knowledge regarding business planning project management etc. Discretion and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters discreetly and to ensure confidentiality guidelines are maintained by staff. Information Systems/Technology Skills: Exceptional computer skills (including operating systems word processing database electronic mail Internet spreadsheets and other office management systems). Normal office conditions. Travel throughout southern New Hampshire Southern Maine and Massachusetts required.
