Job Description

Role Description
As a Salesforce Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Salesforce solutions customizing applications as well as integrating with other systems using Salesforce platform technologies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate product requirements for operational feasibility and create detailed specifications & tech designs based on user stories.
- Contribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance
- Handson participation in development and bug fixing as well as write welldesigned testable and efficient code that adheres to best practices and follows standard coding conventions
- Monitor and report technical progress as well as all technical issues risk or mitigation plan in a timely manner
- Taking up critical POCs and feasibility studies
- Use your salesforce knowledge and experience to build the right solutions on Salesforce
- Managing time and tasks effectively to complete assigned duties within the scheduled timings
Skills & Experience
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
- Have solid understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud architecture and security model and know how to use it
- Have worked singularly or within a small team of Salesforce engineers for over 6 years (inside medium to large technology organizations)
- Have experience building solutions for business problems with the standard Salesforce ecosystem as well as developing custom applications using Apex Lightning Components and Visualforce
- Have experience designing data model user interface business logic and security for custom apps within Salesforce
- Have experience integrating with external RESTful APIs as well as providing RESTful APIs for bespoke Salesforce functionality
- Have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and solution architecture and an keen eye for simplicity
- Have attention to detail when developing solutions
- Have the ability to break down and communicate complex problems in simple terms
- Have deep understanding of the delivery lifecycle from development to release into production and have knowledge of the available environments and how to best use them
Bonus Skills
- Experience designing developing and running productiongrade systems at medium scale for multitenanted systems
- Understanding of other Salesforce offerings like Marketing cloud Sales cloud
- Experience of implementing and developing salesforce deployments within Financial Services and related domains
- Have very good understanding and experience of continuous integration and deployment automation
