We are seeking a detailoriented Cash Payment Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the receipt and accurate accounting of funds by recording payments to customer accounts and maintaining accounts receivable records with precision and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for processing the following including followup to ensure all details are attended to:

  • Process payments received via ACH EFT Wire Check Credit Card etc.
  • Coordinate the processing of payments in multiple currencies for multiple companies.
  • Collaborate with customers sales reps and other departments providing timely responses to questions and completion of requests.
  • Assist sales reps in the management of their open Accounts Receivable by communicating past due items short payments open payments etc.
  • Prepare spreadsheet reports detailing payment history and open invoices when requested or as needed.
  • Maintain proper notes and documentation on different scenarios and payment history
  • Apply credit memo invoices and create credit memos for short pay situations
  • Produce and distribute customer statements and interest invoices to sales reps and customers by request
  • All other tasks assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience

Required: High School diploma or the equivalent with two years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Associate degree in accounting with six months or more related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions reports correspondence and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percentages.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
