Master Data Operations Lead

Major Duties:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for Master Data Operations.
  • Lead mentor and manage a team of 5 data stewards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align master data operations with business goals.
  • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impacts a range of customer operational project or service activities within own team and other related teams
  • Works within broad guidelines and policies

Data Quality and Integrity:

  • Drive initiatives to improve data quality consistency and accuracy.
  • Implement data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics.
  • Manage master data lifecycle processes including data creation modification and deactivation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business units IT and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
  • Provide training and support to data stewards and data users.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop and deliver regular reports on data quality and operational activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Support datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.

Experience :

  • Strong understanding of data management principles data lifecycle and data quality best practices.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g. MDM data quality tools).
  • Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • 10 Years of in Data Management
  • Financial Service experience is preferred
