Visyis powering the circular economy closing the loop between packaging remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years weve grown to 7000 employees and 150 global operations predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

Webelieve materials are not recycled until theyve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper cardboard glass plastics and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealands food and beverage packaging industry.

Role Details

As a Designer you will play a key role in developing functional costeffective and innovative packaging designs using CAD software. From concept to production youll collaborate with sales production and engineering teams to deliver packaging that meets structural and aesthetic requirements. Moreover you will be working with a diverse range of clients across retail food & beverage ecommerce and industrial sectors.

What youll do

• Design custom corrugated cardboard packaging using CAD software (e.g. ArtiosCAD AutoCAD or similar).
• Develop prototypes and prepare accurate technical drawings for diecutting and manufacturing.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to understand packaging requirements.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure durability functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Continuously innovate to improve the sustainability efficiency and costeffectiveness of designs.
• Maintain detailed design files and project documentation.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in packaging design ideally within corrugated or cardboard packaging.
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably AutoCAD) ESSENTIAL
• Strong understanding of structural packaging materials and production processes.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for working with clients and crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of print processes and graphic design basics would be advantageous.
• Background in industrial design engineering or packaging technology would be advantageous
