Job Description:Pool & SpaService Technician
- Perform all aspects of Professional Spa Delivery Liner Installation and Above ground Pool construction
- Perform all aspects of trouble shooting and fixing pools and spas.
- Maintain stock and parts in all service vehicles and warehouse including keeping these areas and vehicles clean. Do proper paper work to transfer parts etc.
- Order parts and accessories as required or inform the person in charge of ordering product.
- Maintain tools used in daytoday service including all hand tools specialty tools the spa dolly etc.
- Perform all service calls in a timely and organized fashion taking what is required to fix the spa the first time and avoiding unnecessary 2nd and 3rd trips to the customers house.
- Record all parts replaced or materials consumed on a service call; return eligible used parts to the service office for warranty if it is a warranty call.
- Learn and teach customers water chemistry and regular spa & pool maintenance.
- Teach customers operation of the Top Side Control along with other spa features.
- Teach customers operation of pool equipment along with other pool features
- Update and maintain Service tech notes in Computer system.
- Be courteous and professional at all times.
- Drive any company vehicle including forklifts with safety and respect obeying all rules of the road.
- Regular cleaning and organizing the inside and outside of the vehicle
- Participate in reaching departments forecast and sales goals
- Proper dress attire / wear company provided shirts
- Share best practices with other technicians
- Teach and train apprenticing technicians
- Any other tasks as required
Requirements
Minimum 35 years in a similar role
Technician certificate in a related field
Strong interpersonal skills
A proven track record in working independently
