Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Test Engineer to join our team at the Smithfield and

Lemont Furnace PA sites.

Position Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering discipline and practices to development and oversight of test activities on all assigned programs.
• Apply electrical principles in the troubleshooting of test anomalies and failures for assigned programs in support of the test technician team.
• Develop test plans procedures and equipment designs to aid qualification and production level functional testing of electronic devices.
• Assist management in technical lead engineer role providing mentoring assistance and checking of assigned Test Engineering mentees.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance poststart is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Electronics testing experience in defense or aerospace
• Root Cause Corrective Action RCCA and failure reporting experience.
• Environmental production and qualification level testing experience including MilSTD810G and MilSTD461F.
• Nonconformances processing experience in TIPQA or Costpoint.
• Radio Frequency RF testing experience including antennas amplifiers and receivers.
• DITMCO wire harness testing and programming experience.
