POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for selling national advertisers (clients) on the benefits of cinema as an advertising platform with a focus on identifying alignment with client KPIs cultivating new relationships with clients at all levels and generating revenue growth.

The Business Development Director will work closely with various internal departments and serve as a liaison to drive business promote intheatre marketing to expand our industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

National CineMedia is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to join our dynamic team. The Business Development Director will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships driving revenue growth and overseeing strategic initiatives within the realm of advertising and media sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned client account list.
  • Identify Business opportunities and demonstrate to clients how Cinema addresses their marketing strategies.
  • Cultivate and nurture high level relationships with key decision makers for assigned client list advocating for National CineMedias services and offerings.
  • Build and develop relationships with clients and agency contacts through consistent meetings phone calls emails and social settings.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing operations research and finance to create custom plans compelling research stories and innovative marketing solutions.
  • Communicate constantly with split partners for seamless selling efforts
  • Analyze market trends competitive landscapes and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Keep new and innovative ideas in front of key clients on an ongoing basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Advertising or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in advertising sales media sales or related fields.
  • Strategic thinking coupled with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
  • Ability to develop strong longlasting relationships with all levels of clients.
  • Advanced presentation skills (individual group executive level and inperson over the phone and in writing).
  • Thorough understanding of and comfort level with media research and math.
  • Creative entrepreneurial thinker with the ability to deliver consultative solution oriented sales approach and develop big ideas based on client marketing objectives.
  • Ability to manage handle and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large accounts exceeding sales targets and fostering longterm client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant sales tools.

Experience and Training:

Any combination of the following experience and training (designated as required and/or preferred) that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in advertising sales media sales or

related fields.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Advertising or related field.

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR NEW YORK APPLICANTS:

Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $125000 $300000 annually plus bonus compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
