Emerald is looking for a detailoriented Attendee Acquisition Specialist to join the MJBiz team reporting directly to the Attendee Acquisitions & Partnership Director. In this role you will be instrumental in achieving delegate targets related to growing quality attendee numbers and increasing registration revenue for MJBizCon. Your contribution will be vital in meeting our registration revenue goals.
Key responsibilities include staying updated on industry trends managing the sales pipeline forecasting revenue and building strong relationships with existing attendees as well as potential new audience groups.
We are seeking a proactive datadriven professional with a customerfirst mindset. You should thrive in both independent and collaborative settings within a closeknit team and be adept at juggling multiple priorities in a fastpaced entrepreneurial environment. Exceptional written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a strong focus on customer success and client experience are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet and exceed individual and team sales quotas by making 50 customer touches daily for MJBizCon.
Maintain established customer relationships while identifying new prospects through proactive outreach and timely fulfillment of requests.
Conduct sales campaigns and adhere to a structured sales funnel.
Collaborate with marketing leads to communicate new initiatives and content to potential audience delegates.
Manage the sales process by optimizing pipeline data and analyzing lead quality metrics.
Build strong relationships and engage in meaningful conversations with influential accounts leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
Regularly collect and analyze attendee data to evaluate performance against revenue goals and pricing strategies.
Assist in preparing pre and postevent reports for internal teams and marketing leadership.
Ensure effective communication with the attendee client list for timely asset delivery and adherence to commitments.
Foster collaborative relationships with crossfunctional teams including Attendee and Sales Marketing Partnerships Operations Finance and Sales.
Provide onsite support during events shows and activations as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
23 years demonstrated sales success; prior audience or experiential sales experience a plus
Knowledge of cannabis and or B2B events industry a plus
Strong sales/negotiation skills with a proven track record with targeting appropriate prospects and closing sales while effectively building relationships
Computer literate: MS office CRM/database experience a2z and Salesforce a plus
Willing and able to travel up to 20 of the time
Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
Creative thinker with a solutionsoriented approach.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
