Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
Job Description
Identifies packaging requirements and packages products in shipping boxes crates cartons or containers for shipment. Stacks boxes crates cartons or containers and sends these to Shipping.
- Ensures product is secured to avoid damage during shipping.
- Provides appropriate labeling as required by contracts.
- Ensures that a sufficient quantity of packaging is available contacting the materials team for restocking as needed.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs when lugging and packing the sonobuoys.
- Must complete fork truck certification and maintain certification.
- Must have a focus on quality as pack cell is the last line of sight to see the sonobuoys before shipping out.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift certification
- Typically a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1 years of related experience.
- 6 months of Assembly experience preferred
- Prior forklift experience preferred
