The Domestic Sales team at United Parks & Entertainment (PRKS) is seeking a highly motivated sales professional to drive incremental revenue for our company and by managing national military relationships and leading a task force that shares best practices with inmarket teams leads marketing initiatives and develops a companywide strategy for military sales.
The Manager Military Sales will oversee the military business partner sales channel by servicing PRKS military account portfolio for all parks. They will also support our teams nationally by partnering with park sales teams on sales training marketing initiatives and developing strategies to grow volume of guests from military channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel hospitality and/or themed entertainment.
- Manage client relationships with our military sales accounts: including training on our products and parks coop marketing opportunities and sales incentive planning to motivate revenue growth.
- Pursue opportunities to add new accounts/clients to our portfolio and drive incremental revenue to the company.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to ease administrative burden on our corporate team and our partners and ensure the best possible guest and military reseller experience.
- Drive sales demand for parks. Leverage assigned channels to drive awareness and intent to visit serving as an extension for marketing campaigns. Seek to position our parks for top tier exposure to drive maximum awareness. This includes reasons to visit such as new attractions and consumer events.
- Represent the PRKS brands at military networking opportunities trade shows and onsite tours of our parks.
- Collaborate with marketing to create marketing copy and images for online and in market marketing initiatives.
- Work with revenue management team to ensure pricing for offer align with company per cap goals.
- Build and maintain all military products with EZ Ticket team.
- Sales campaign development leadership role for military offers for all PRKS properties.
- Create and manage reporting to drive sales volume per cap and revenue goals for the military channel.
- Complete additional administrative duties required to help promote military sales.
What it takes to succeed:
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey important ideas and concepts to senior management top executives from key accounts and hospitality industry leadership in group settings.
- Moderate skill level with Microsoft Suite of products primarily Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work with a variety of internal and external partners to achieve regional park goals
- Handson rollupyoursleeves attitude with a no job is too small approach to sales operations.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
