About the Role:
We are seeking a Consultant/Specialist Cardiologist to support and grow an expanding Cardiology Department. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Cardiology, you ll provide outstanding inpatient, outpatient, and outreach cardiology services. The role also includes leadership in cardiac investigations, mentoring junior staff, and helping expand our Clinical Diagnostic Unit (CDU).

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
  • Perform and report stress echocardiograms, TOE, and transthoracic echocardiograms
  • Lead and develop cardiology services to improve patient care
  • Participate in outreach clinics to surrounding health services
  • Mentor junior doctors and medical students
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

About You:
  • Specialist registration with AHPRA as a Cardiologist
  • Fellowship in Echocardiography or Non-Invasive Imaging
  • Skilled in stress echo, TOE, and TTE
  • Experience in heart failure management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to teaching and regional healthcare
