Hospital Medicine Medical Director opportunity in Oakdale CA
Wonderful opportunity to lead our hospital medicine team in our Medical Center in Oakdale CA. Work alongside our emergency medicine team among other specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- The hospital includes 30 med/surg beds and a 12bed ED
- Day rounding includes Rapid Response and Code Blues.
- If intubations are required then the ED physician will assist.
- Night coverage is provided by Telemed MD.
- Radiology including CT/Ultrasound and MRI is available during daytime hours
- Specialty services include: Anesthesiology Interventional Radiology Cardiology General Surgery Mobile Crisis Psych Orthopedics Pediatrics Wound Care
Qualifications:
- Board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with inpatient experience.
- No ICU or procedural requirements.
- Ideal medical director candidates have at least 2 years of experience are ABIM certified and have a leadership background.
Rewards and Benefits:
- W2 Compensation range is $360k $400k if working 182 clinical shifts annually.
- Quality bonus and productivity bonus eligibility in addition to base compensation.

- Paid malpractice including tail coverage.
- Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Fulltime positions follow a 7dayson 7daysoff clinical rotation
