Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in C# to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automated test scripts maintaining testing frameworks and ensuring the overall quality of our software products. The SDET will collaborate closely with software developers product managers and QA teams to design implement and execute effective testing strategies for complex systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using C#.
- Automate functional integration and regression testing for automotive applications.
- Execute test plans and analyze test results to identify and resolve issues in software systems.
- Validate software against system requirements to ensure compliance with automotive standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of software modules.
- Identify document and track software defects using industrystandard tools.
- Ensure software systems adhere to quality standards and industry best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve product reliability.
- Participate as a team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Strong proficiency inC# programming.
- Knowledge of COM (Component Object Model) concepts is an added advantage.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr) and defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA Bugzilla).
- Experience on Nunit/Junit/TestNg.
- Proven experience in applying SDLC principles to improve software quality.
- Indepth understanding of STLC phases test design techniques and defect lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical debugging and problemsolving abilities.
- Having an ISTQB certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive testing including testing automotive protocols like CAN LIN or FlexRay.
- Ability to liaise with developers architects and QA teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Strong analytical skills to identify debug and resolve systemlevel issues.
- Strong understanding of automotive software development standards and processes.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
