We are currently seeking an experienced AWS Lead/Architect to join our dynamic team at NewVision Software Services. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in designing implementing and optimizing AWSbased solutions at an enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Infrastructure Design: Architect and implement AWS infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements focusing on scalability reliability and security.
- AWS Services Management: Deploy and manage AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS Lambda AWS Connect Direct Connect Application Load Balancers (ALB) and API Gateways.
- Networking Configuration: Design and optimize AWS networking components such as VPC subnets security groups route tables and VPN connections for secure and efficient network communication.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Create and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Infrastructure Automation: Use CloudFormation Terraform or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning configuration and management improving deployment speed and reducing manual errors.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor AWS resources using tools like CloudWatch ELK stack and AWS XRay to optimize performance enhance security and control costs.
- Load Balancing & Connectivity: Configure and manage load balancers and AWS Direct Connect to ensure efficient and secure access to cloud resources.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Apply SRE practices to maintain system reliability scalability and performance including incident management and root cause analysis.
- Database Management: Manage and optimize AWS databases such as RDS Aurora and DynamoDB ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to integrate AWS services into application lifecycles improving deployment pipelines and system resilience.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members promoting best practices and technical growth within the team.
- Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain AWS security best practices including IAM policies encryption and compliance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with AWS innovations industry trends and best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operations.
- Incident Management & Recovery: Lead critical incident response perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 1015 years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 5 years of handson AWS experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC Direct Connect AWS Connect ALB and API Gateways.
- Proficiency in AWS networking including VPC subnets security groups VPN and Direct Connect.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid knowledge of AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch ELK stack and AWS XRay.
- Expertise in database management on AWS RDS Aurora DynamoDB.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and SRE principles.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Skills:
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
- Extensive handson experience with Amazon EC2 including instance management scaling and optimization.
- Handson experience with Amazon EC2 for compute and AWS Lambda for serverless computing.
- Proficiency in AWS networking & experience with automation toolsmonitoring services disaster recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of high availability solutions using Amazon RDS Elastic Load Balancing and Amazon S3.
- Experience with hybrid cloud or multicloud environments.
- Familiarity with enterpriselevel automation and monitoring tools.
- Experience working with largescale productiongrade cloud infrastructures.
