HOURS
2nd shift Monday Thursday 4:00pm 2:30am
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards
- Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges (panoplies) are being met.
- Document audits and maintain appropriate records
- Process offspecification material as directed
- Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers
- InformInbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections
- Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects
- Participate in location inventories
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous quality assurance role
- Capable of basic math calculations
- Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Able to use standard measuring equipment
- General knowledge of computers
- Able to lift stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and not allergic to latex gloves
