Our Expedited Extended Coverage is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with all Expedited Drivers ensuring effective communication and supporting driver performance.

Friday: 4pm10pm
Saturday: 6am 6pm
Sunday: 6am6pm
Monday: 4am10am or 5am11am
What you will be doing:
Creates and maintains strong business partnerships with all Expedited drivers
Communicatewith drivers daily
Promptly answer phone calls emails and messages
Displays an expert level knowledge of Hours of Service Serves
Track drivers in a slip seat to ensure ontime services
Manages a fleet of trucks to ensure Expedited equipment is getting the maintenance they require to stay in service
Updates the Expedited driver schedule accordingly and accurately to maximize productivity of the fleet.
Responsible for optimizing performance of assigned drivers including ontime pickup and delivery performance Hours of Service (HOS) compliance driver availability and scheduling preferences.
Identifies and books freight within the Hirschbach network to ensure Expedited trucks run full.
Plans freight on Expedited equipment for maximum utilization and profitability.
Preplans freight that allows for on time pickup and delivery.
Manages Expedited trailer pools
Create timely and accurate PreTcalls
Confirms TCalled loads that ran on Expedited are planned for on time delivery.
Creates plans of action (POA) to increase lane profitability and service percentages. Updates POAs with concerns/delays
Buildsand maintains professional and positive relationships operations team members.
Coach drivers to identify opportunities for improvement and actively provides training/coaching needed to assist drivers in reaching their highest potential and performance.
Collaborate with the Safety department to ensure drivers are following all policies andare coached effectively to meet organizational company standards.
Proactively identify issues that may occur with driver pay by working closely with the Expedited Team lead and Driver Payroll.
Attends meetings related to Expedited and occasionally travels to visit terminal locations.
Other duties as assigned include proactively assisting others in achieving the organizations objectives.
Talent Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent in education pairedwithrelevantprofessionalexperience.
BachelorsDegreein Transportation/Logistics/Supply Chain or a related field ispreferred.
Computerproficiencyand abilitytonavigate between multiple programs.

Displays selfmotivation and a strongdesiretolearn within an unpredictable and demanding environment.
