The Client & The Role
This is a small team of just under 10 staff in their offices on the city fringe in Melbourne. The Partner is looking for someone to join him and share the work in the office. Take control of a portfolio of clients and manage the team of experienced accountants while also focusing on new business development if desired.
The Partner offers equity in the firm if this is desired within short time of joining the team.
Duties may involve:
- A proactive approach to developing and maintaining client relationships for a broad group of clients from business owners to professionals in a diverse range of industries
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of clients
- Ensure work is delivered by your team to a high standard and all client expectations are met
- Work closely with clients on a range of business advisory needs
- Identify business development opportunities and referral networks
The Applicant
- 8 years local experience in Business Services & Tax
- University degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification in place
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Xero experience is an advantage for this role
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
