We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of womens services to lead our organization in delivering exceptional services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills who can effectively manage staff oversee patient care delivery and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Directs Womens Services activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards consistent with the clinical administrative legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
- Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery information technologies service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
- Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orienting evaluating disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
- Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
- Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidencebased practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Acts as a resource for staff regarding obstetrical concerns.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of home care systems and processes.
- Proven ability to manage nursing teams effectively fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Expertise in patient monitoring techniques and hospice care protocols.
- Solid understanding of physiology to inform patient care decisions.

Required:
Associate or bachelors degree in nursing required.
AWHON Certification Required.
RN License in Kentucky Required
RN license
