Job Description
Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part Time Neonatologist to join our highly recognized and collaborative team. Our physicians nurses and staff are committed to providing exceptional care in a teamoriented environment making this a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission.
Position Overview:
- Location: All Childrens Hospital / main campus hospital.
- Level IV NICU: Work in a comprehensive stateoftheart neonatal intensive care unit.
- Collaborative Team: Youll work closely with residents fellows and Nurse Practitioners providing both clinical and academic support.
- Shifts: Includes day night and weekend shifts. Onsite staffing includes 5 MDs during the day and 1 MD with residents/fellows/Nurse Practitioners at night.
- 24hour inhouse Nurse Practitioners to support the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality neonatal care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including residents fellows and nurse practitioners.
- Participate in building and growing a program with a focus on academic development.
- Take an active role in mentoring residents and fellows.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Interest in Academia: A passion for teaching and building academic programs.
- Point of Care Ultrasound: Familiarity with or willingness to contribute to a Point of Care Ultrasound Program.
- ECMO Expertise: Strong background in ECMO technology and training.
- Experience: 35years of Level IV NICU experience is a plus.
