Job Description
Overseeing the content development and enhancement of the Mindspark Vernacular product covering Language Mathematics Social Studies and Science
Liaising with product and technical teams to ensure content is availble on the app for students
Manage the Mindspark Verncular Product end to end
Troubleshooting minor tech issues when tickets are raised and liase with product and tech teams for speedy resolution
Coordinating with other managers within and across teams on various tasks/projects to ensure smooth delivery of content
Coordinating with various vendors and freelancers to deliver content according to planned sprints
Driving contentbased innovation like tests in new item types impact assessments and learning content approaches
Planning work/tasks and tracking progress towards content goals by setting up intermediate targets/milestones
Setting up processes and systems to ensure high quality of content produced by the team
Assessing areas of training for the team and developing training modules to train people on developing good quality content
Facilitating the dual flow of communication between the team and senior management
Researching on learning & teaching methodologies through reading and sharing of academic journals analysing student performance data on questions interacting with external subject experts interacting with teachers students and implementation partners for insights about students learning
Driving the recruitment process creating the JD formulate assignments tests filtering criteria tracking progress on hiring and close positions within an acceptable timeframe screening profiles shared by the HR team
Mentoring team members and building a knowledge management system for Mindspark Vernacular team
Producing blogs newsletter articles and other reading and infogrphic material to build internal knowledge systems and resposistory with the view to progress learning and development in the company.
Must Have:
Previous experience in education sector and/or managing an edtech product
Understanding of technology and product behaviors related to edtech
Deep understanding of project and people management
Excellent written/oral communication skills including the ability to understand and summarize
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently as a selfstarter being detailoriented with strong critical thinking skills
Grit to positively drive the team to achieve timely and quality deliverables.
Good to Have:
Ability to read and write any of the vernacular languages from the learning program (Marathi/ Gujarati /Hindi /Urdu /Telugu /Tamil /Kannada /Punjabi /Odia)
Requirements
810 years of experience
Relevant experience of working in development sector in managing / implementing education programs
Preference to educational degrees technical degrees and team management
