Job Description
Current MA RN license required. Must have demonstrated clinical competence in area of nursing practice and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience. Certification in parenteral therapy required. PICC Experience preferred.Responsible for consultation with all staff regarding the assessment planning implementation evaluation and documentation of intravenous therapy nursing care. Provides consultation regarding intravenous therapy nursing practice issues to nurses throughout the hospital in both inpatient and outpatient departments who provide intravenous therapy to pediatric adult and older adult patients. Works closely with the nurse manager in identifying educational needs of new and existing staff around parenteral therapy management and is actively involved in the formal and informal teaching in response to these needs.
