About the Role
We are looking for an experienced part time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Barnet as the Clinical Lead. In this role you will:
- Provide specialist assessments treatment planning and evidencebased interventions for individuals experiencing substance use challenges.
- Offer clinical supervision to prescribing staff ensuring best practice in line with professional and organisational standards.
- Lead on the implementation of clinical governance procedures supporting the ongoing development of highquality care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team external agencies and key partners to deliver holistic personcentred support.
Salary:per annum (for 15 hours per week dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent
Please note: Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles salary and benefits will be prorata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
About You
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced professional with a strong background in addiction psychiatry. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Qualifications:
- Medical Degree with Basic Medical Training completion.
- Full GMCUK Registration with a License to Practice.
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- Consultant Psychiatrist on the GMC Specialist Register with a Substance Misuse endorsement.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Indepth knowledge of addiction psychiatry including opiate substitution therapy detoxification protocols and postdetox pharmacology.
- Experience working with substance use and mental health challenges with a commitment to delivering highquality care.
- Strong understanding of clinical prescribing and governance.
- Flexibility to work across different sites and adapt to service needs.
