You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPerforms management and implementation of survey data collection for city real estate and construction projects using technologies like LiDAR drones and hydrographic mapping systems. Coordinates with field staff and processes data with specialized software to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Maintains survey equipment and collaborates on public works data standards under the supervision of the City Surveyor. Reports on project progress and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and six 6 years of survey data management and GIS expertise or an equivalent combination of education and experience. FAA Part 107 license must be obtained within 90 days of employment at the employees own expense and effort. Valid Florida Drivers License required. Experience in performing drone photogrammetry projects LiDAR scanning projects bathymetric/hydrographic mapping of lakes and processing of photogrammetry and LiDAR collected data highly desired.
