Plant Superintendent Lead Manufacturing Excellence at a Global Industry Leader
WinstonSalem NC FullTime Onsite

As Plant Superintendent at our WinstonSalem Assembly Plant youll play a critical role in driving operational excellence developing the next generation of leaders and ensuring safe efficient production of batteries that fuel the worlds mobility. What Youll Do
As Plant Superintendent you will:
- Lead and coach production supervisors and hourly teams to exceed performance and safety goals.
- Drive daily weekly and monthly performance metrics aligned to quality delivery and cost (SQDC).
- Implement Lean Six Sigma and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with Clarios environmental safety and quality standards including ISO 9001/IATF 16949.
- Develop future plant leaders through coaching structured feedback and performance management.
- Collaborate across functions to resolve issues schedule production and ensure customer satisfaction.
What Were Looking For
Required
- Bachelors degree in engineering operations or a related field. Or commensurate experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a unionized manufacturing environment including working with collective bargaining agreements and managing labor relations.
- Strong communicator with the ability to motivate teams manage conflict and drive accountability.
- Track record of delivering results through metrics and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Experience with Lean 5S and Six Sigma (Black Belt a plus).
- Automotive battery or highvolume production background.
- Prior military leadership experience is highly valued veterans are encouraged to apply.
