Work with site supervisors to ensure that the correct product is in place for production schedules.
Gather materials for upcoming & scheduled jobs (kitting)
Interact with the Warehouse Coordinator area supervisors and line assemblers on any issues that may arise.
Work with and monitor incoming parts / kits count process. Ensure that incoming kit inventory is maintained at an accuracy of 100 absolute variance through cycle count and work with Warehouse Coordinator and area supervisors in case of discrepancy.
Assist in packaging materials and shipping if needed.
Work with the warehouse supervisors to ensure assignments are scheduled and carried out processes are followed and safety procedures are in place.
Perform tasks while complying with company safety policies.
Follow OSHA standards
Participate in routine practices and team projects relating to LEAN 5S S Safety Quality etc.
Work overtime when required
Follow all ISO 9001 and AS9100 practices
Perform other duties as required
Work closely with operations department to assist the materials and production teams in meeting WIG commitments and achieving LexTM3 DFFR.
Performs cycle counts as requested and assists with the annual physical inventory
Ensure that inventory is maintained at an accuracy of 98.5 absolute variance or better
High school diploma or GED or any other equivalent diploma needs to have at least 2 years of more experience working with a manufacturing company (electrical parts experience is preferable)
Thorough understanding and experience in Bills of Materials routings cycle count the function of inventory control and order processing
Abilities/skills required
Ability to maintain an attendance record in good standing (per LexTM3 policies) in order to timely fulfill Material Handler duties.
Current forklift certification preferred.
Practical problem solving with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
Effective organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment and work assignments
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted throughout the day.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Occasional weekend work is required
