Job Description

As a Director of Software Engineeringat JPMorgan Chase within CIB Markets & CIB Wide you will lead a team of Cloud Engineers & Architects to drive impact within our CIB LOBs and Firm wide through our partnership with IP. You will utilize your indepth knowledge of Cloud software applications technical processes and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives while serving as a primary decision maker for your team and be a driver of innovation and solution delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Leads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectives
- Makes decisions that influence teams resources budget tactical operations and the and implementation of processes and procedures
- Carries governance accountability for coding decisions control obligations and measures of success such as cost of ownership maintainability and portfolio operations
- Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains
- Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business product and technology teams
- Champions the firms culture of diversity equity opportunity and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 years applied experience along with 5 years of experience leading technologists
- Experience developing or leading crossfunctional teams of technologists
- Experience with hiring developing and recognizing talent
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Experience in cloud native development
- Expertise in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
- Demonstrated success in leading a highperforming engineering team
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience working at code level
- Cloud Certifications AWS Solutions Architect/Developer Associate
- Programming languages like Python Golang Reactjs Rust Shell (bash/zsh)
