Job Description

This new location will serve as a foundation for continued growth innovation and close proximity to key automotive production sites.
Join CHYUAN the injection mold plant of CAIP Group and become a key player in designing innovative and efficient injection molds for automotive interior parts.
We are looking for a highly experienced mold design expert to support and optimize our technical capabilities in a rapidly growing international environment.
Tasks
- Develop and review injection mold designs for automotive interior parts (e.g. door panels IPs pillars consoles)
- Optimize designs for performance quality and costefficiency
- Guide and advise other designers with expert solutions for complex or special mold challenges
- Use CAD software (e.g. UG CATIA) to create and evaluate 3D models
- Support continuous improvement and design standardization
- Collaborate closely with production tooling and R&D teams
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in injection mold design for automotive interior/exterior trims in a major European mold factory
- Deep understanding of mold structures materials and processing technologies (e.g. MuCell 2K injection highgloss stack mold)
- Skilled in CAD software especially UG or CATIA
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to mentor junior designers
- Fluent in English (technical vocabulary required); Chinese is a plus
- Open to relocation to Tianjin China (full relocation support provided)
