Job Description

Due to the sharp increase in the number of redispatch measures we as a grid operator are faced with the challenge of making the associated billing processes more efficient. With the RePy project we are increasing the degree of automation of billing in order to reduce errors shorten processing times and ultimately increase customer satisfaction.
As a test manager for our tool in the redispatch process you will be responsible for supplementing our internally developed Python script with the appropriate quality gates and ensuring that the tool can be used with minimal risk. You define test cases and test them independently. You will also act as a sparring partner for the development team.
Task description:
Inventory analysis: You will design a test concept for a tool for processing redispatch cases (DEV QA Test Automation UAT) and derive measures (incl. schedule) that you will drive forward and implement yourself.
Definition of test cases and documentation as well as processing of these.
Organization and provision of suitable test data from the business
You will contribute your knowhow as a test manager to incorporate a clear structured approach into the development process in which testing plays a central role.
Development of test automations.
Independent of Dev QA UAT and PROD tests.
Goal: Maximize test coverage.
All documents will be provided by Bayernwerk.
