Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Integration Consultant to join our team in Gurgaon. In this role you will be responsible for leading and executing Workday HCM integration projects connecting Workday with internal systems thirdparty vendors and other enterprise applications. You will also work closely with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless data flows and accurate integration of HR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday HCM Integration Management:
- Design configure and implement integrations between Workday and other systems such as Payroll Time Tracking Benefits and Talent Management tools.
- Lead integration projects from requirement gathering through to postdeployment support ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Integration Development & Testing:
- Use Workday Studio Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and other integration tools to build configure and test integrations.
- Ensure data accuracy integration functionality and alignment with business requirements through thorough testing (Unit System and UAT testing).
Collaboration with Technical & Functional Teams:
- Work with HR IT teams and thirdparty vendors to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business processes.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on integration best practices and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Documentation & Support:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration workflows configurations and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integrations postimplementation addressing system issues and ensuring longterm sustainability.
Optimization & Enhancements:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements to existing integrations based on Workday best practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve integration performance to ensure data accuracy and reduce system errors.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- 35 years of handson experience with Workday HCM integrations.
- Strong knowledge of integration tools like Workday Studio EIB Web Services (SOAP/REST) and XSLT.
- Experience working with integrations between Workday and thirdparty systems (e.g. Payroll Benefits Providers Time and Attendance systems).
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM architecture and integration capabilities.
- Solid experience in troubleshooting integration issues and performing data mapping and transformations.
Communication:
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex integration concepts in clear understandable terms.
Certifications (preferred): Workday HCM Integration certification is a plus.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science Human Resources or a related field.
Key Responsibilities: Workday HCM Implementation: Lead the configuration, deployment, and support of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Time Tracking, and Absence Management. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand business processes, provide recommendations, and configure Workday solutions to meet their needs. Solution Design & Configuration: Design functional solutions for Workday HCM modules, document business requirements, and configure the system based on these requirements. Testing & Validation: Develop test cases, perform unit testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday implementations and upgrades. End-User Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to end users on Workday functionality and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Project Management: Participate in the project planning and coordination of activities, working with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Post-Implementation Support: Offer post-go-live support to ensure the effective functioning of the HCM system and resolve any operational issues. Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements and enhancements to increase system efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Experience: Experience: 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Workday HCM modules. Modules Expertise: Strong knowledge of Workday Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Reporting. Configuration Skills: Proficient in Workday configuration, business process design, security setup, and report creation. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients at various levels. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Certifications: Workday HCM certification (preferred but not required). Hybrid/Remote Working: Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment, with some on-site client engagements as required.
