We are seeking a skilled and proactive SCADA Support Engineer to provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for GE iFIX SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will have handson experience in SCADA/PLC development and troubleshooting along with a solid understanding of system configurations patching and user support. The role involves working closely with key users and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance.
Provide L2 and L3 support for GE iFIX SCADA environments.
Manage and resolve incidents related to IFIX SCADA.
Execute support and shutdown activities as required.
Coordinate with key users and external vendors for issue resolution and upgrades.
Monitor maintain and troubleshoot SCADA/PLC systems (specifically GE iFIX 6.5.
Configure and manage IGS OPC servers user roles and security areas.
Support and maintain Historian servers and ensure data integrity.
Perform server patching patch updates and manage GE licensing.
Involve in the development and improvement of SCADA system functionalities.
Strong knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems (preferably GE iFIX).
Proven experience in SCADA development and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with iFIX 6.5 SCADA platform.
Understanding of IGS OPC server configuration and security settings.
Experience with Historian servers and SCADA data storage.
Knowledge of server maintenance patching and GE software licensing.
Experience in SCADA support monitoring and system enhancement.
Handson experience with SCADA and PLC programming.
Experience with GE IGS 7.8 and integration with GE iFIX 6.5.
