Sr Azure Cloud Developer

One of our clients is seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Developer to join an established software development team supporting several missioncritical applications. This role focuses on the development and enhancement of web and Windowsbased systems used by internal staff and constituents across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

As a Senior Developer you will lead and contribute to the analysis design and coding of new and existing applications work closely with SOA environments and integrate with major cloud service providers. This is a complex independent role requiring strong architectural thinking advanced technical ability and leadership in both strategy and .

Key Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain scalable and secure cloudbased applications in Microsoft Azure.
  

• Collaborate with architects analysts and stakeholders to define system specifications.
  

• Implement and integrate ServiceOriented Architectures (SOA).
  

• Develop solutions using C# .NET Core/Framework MVC/WebForms JavaScript SQL.
  

• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep.
  

• Manage APIs and microservices using Azure Functions Logic Apps App Services and API Management.
  

• Set up and maintain monitoring alerts and logging with Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics.
  

• Use Git Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to manage source control and CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for critical cloud workloads.
  

• Contribute to Agile workflows and maintain application security best practices.
