Job Description

ALBANY LAW SCHOOL in New Yorks Capital City invites applications from entrylevel and lateral candidates for a clinical teaching opportunity in a new Housing Justice Clinic beginning in July 2025. This is a oneyear visiting position at this time. We are committed to the diversity of our law school community and we seek candidates with experience in teaching and mentoring students from groups historically excluded from higher education and the legal profession and whose work advances critical thinking on questions of importance to society. We welcome applications from qualified candidates with at least six years of practice experience with some of that practice specifically dedicated to eviction defense and other housing security issues. This is a grantfunded opportunity.

Qualifications
We seek candidates with practice experience a strong academic record capacity for scholarly merit and whose work encourages innovative and critical thinking. Applicants must hold a J.D. degree or the equivalent and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this position is $90000$120000 per year plus comprehensive benefits package. Salary will be based on the successful candidates relevant experience knowledge skills and abilities and in consideration of internal equity.
